PackLight was born from a simple observation: planning a trip should be the exciting part, not the chore. Between dozens of open tabs, contradictory blogs and hours spent comparing, the urge to leave often burns out before departure.

The app turns an urge — a destination, some dates, a style — into a complete, day-by-day itinerary, with the links to book flights, stays and transfers, and the packing list that goes with it. In 30 seconds.

Who's behind it

PackLight is built by Maxime Ducher, a journalist for five years in Paris newsrooms, then a year in Australia on a working holiday visa. The app grew out of his own trips: Indonesia, Australia, Europe. A solo, human-scale project with one obsession: that every feature actually serves the departure.
